Should only need repair skills and scrap metal. Tool kit would be good. Stimpacks to fix robots? That's just so :banghead: :swear: stupid...
I have to agree there. If there is a robot companion in the game, I would not object to being able to heal the robot using scrap metal, with the effectiveness based on repair skill, or robots could use some alternate thing to repair them, like repair kits. Aside from that, other potential applications of repairing robots I could see would be if you can occassionally find robots that are damaged, but not beyond repair, in the environment, you could repair them and allow them to continue functioning, and after that, they could behave somewhat like the robots that you could activate in Fallout 3. If Obsidian wanted to make repair skill have a greater effect on this than just whether you can repair the robot, it could also have other effects, maybe there could be a chance that you'd fail and ruin the robot, or still succeed but have it function at reduced efficiency (Represented by reduced stats.) or something, if you needed to actually reprogram the robot, I'd think that would fall under science more than repair.
