Is it possible craft a fur armor using smithing? I also would like to have more variation on basic armors. I would love to use leather when making my armor but I don't like the basic leather armor because it makes my character look like a gladiator. I do like the guild masters armor in thieves guild, but I would like to enchant it with enchants suitable for my character. Still the fur armor fits really well to Skyrim's hars and cold environment. Also are there any non enchanted hoods that fall in to light armor category?

If you play on PC you can get a mod that allows you to enchant the Nightingale armor.

you cant craft fur armours but are plenty in abundant among bandits.
