well the first thing you should have done is sheath your weapon. If you simply attacked someone and didn't kill them, most NPCs will simply accept that you have yielded. You will still have a fine to pay whenever you run into a guard in that hold.

You would need someone to pay the fine to, e.g. going to Whiterun and have a chat with the guards. An alternative is to flee the city and wait some days for the commotion to die down.

if you really killed everyone... have fun with the ghost town. i mean... your last save was 5!!!!!!!! hours ago? you should atlest autosave all 15 mins. you deserve to be screwed, dude.

edit: you can murder someone in front of everyone, pay the guard 1000 gold and it's all fine. everyone likes you.

i paid the guard,and most people are still pissed at me in Sven's town, except for the blacksmith.

And excuse the hell out of me for forgetting to quicksave.

I regularly go on murder sprees myself, but with guards. Since the guards aren't unique characters with names, they aren't really people and they don't matter. As an added bonus, once you kill all the guards you can do whatever you want to.

BTW Sven is a [censored], you should have finished him off.

Autosave saves the game every 15 minutes by default. Also, when you enter a building like a trader, etc. If you look at your folder that has the saved games in them, you'll see a file like "autosave1.ess." There's also an autosave 2 and 3.

My current playthrough is an attempt to eliminate every person I can in Skyrim so that its only me left. Gonna see how close to that goal I can get.

If you killed them, thats it, they are dead....you should have just sheatehd your weapon...how do you ACCIDENTLY attack someone?
