Activating dwemer thresher traps

I can't seem to figure out how to get dwemer thresher blade traps to activate. Looking at the trap and trigger setup in WarehouseTraps and various other places in game I can't see how they link up. I've gone through the scripts on the activator lever and can't find any reference or property for the trap itself which would cause it to animate or activate. Can anyone give me a hint on how to get these to work?

As an aside, is there a way to create statics from NPCs in different poses? Similar to the loadscreenxxx statics already available. This is probably way over my head but I may as well ask. :tongue:

Are you perhaps confusing the trap itself (the bar with the orange arrow on it) with the track?

From what I can tell it's a fairly standard "Activate parent" link...

Arg! Yes, that's exactly what I was doing. I didn't see that there was a separate piece for the trap itself. Thanks! I feel very foolish now. :dry:
