I've recently started trying to make some simple mods, and my latest endeavour is to modify Jenassa, a hireling in some small ways.

What I'm trying to do: Change her facial to tattoo from yellow to red. I've changed it in the Creation Kit under the HirelingJenassa Actor, and in there she has a red tattoo, but when I launch the game with the mod running her tattoo is still yellow.

I also gave her a healing spell to use when on low health which she doesn't use, I assume this is to do with her AI though, and I'm not very bothered about.

I gave her an Ancient Nord Amulet to check that the mod was loading, and then I opened up my save, and bashed her face. Sure enough on her Corpse was an Ancient Nord Amulet.

if anyone could help me fix the facial war paint issue I'm having I'd be very appreciative

EDIT: I fixed this by pressing CTRL-F4 whilst having Jenassa selected.

But annoyingly when my friend downloads the mod off the Steam Workshop Jenassa's facepaint is still yellow, whilst my version of Jenassa has red facepaint. The problem is I don't know how to package the .tga file associated with her modified red facepaint with the .esp for the steam Workshop. I tried dragging it into the Archive box but it said it was an incompatible file type.
