define what you mean exactly by goty. I know it will not be game of the year in my eyes. However, i absolutely believe it will get republished in a year or so as a goty edition. I also think they will do a box set of all the fallout games.

Why can't you be able to play anymore after you complete the last main story quest. I would like to be able to use the things that I got doing the mission and see what happens afterwrds. I also do not like the fact that you are not able to complete all of the missions and then free-roam afterwards. This is going to make a lot of people stop playing on of my favorite series bevcause of the fact that there is nothing to do after you beat it. What was Bethesda and Ubisoft thinking.

It was ALL Obsidian and they have a perfectly valid reason for it: The game would make sense if you where allowed to play after the ending because none of your actions would matter.

Being in the Nevada desert I would have thought a play on an old Cinemaware game, It came from the desert with huge mutant ant's.

That would be cool to have a DLC about that, have a huge Queen Ant at the end and you have to kill them by shooting their Antenna's off to kill em.

I'd like to see the huge desert area to the west get unlocked with some nice content.

well there is a locked gate at the mojave outpost in the southwest that can't be opened, but if you go west then you are just in california and the other fallouts already covered that, so going east to texas would be a good idea if you ask me

Erm, you don't have to bump the thread every five minutes. Half this thread is bumps and spam.

I think an Area 51 level would be cool, but Mothership Zeta left a bad taste in my mouth in regards to fighting aliens. Maybe just humans who have been experimented on or something.

If you want to get technical, east of the in-game terrain would be Utah and southeast would be Arizona and such, Texas, by Fallout canon standards would be a very long walk.

OT- Id like to see something that adds more overall area to the map, it doesnt have to be alot, just give more places to explore, more people to meet, more quests. Basically, standard DLC things. I also voted however for something like the system that was used for Op Anchorage. Maybe be able to get into a VR sim and get to do something on that level again would be nice. Theres my 2Cents

Just a few ideas:

- Helping Mr. Lockheart further fulfill his vendetta against the "higher powers" in the Mojave.
- The Enclave advances from the north with upgraded tech seeking to take control, but it's all up to you whether they do or not.
- The BOS remnants in the Mojave have some hidden tech that could help them regain status as a dominantl faction hidden within the wastes.
- Help Caesar's Legion conquer Hawaii, or atlest what's left of it.

Addons? I'm not so sure about it.

Fallout 3's DLC was nice, sure. But pricey for what we got. I've heard, though never played, that Oblivion's DLC was way better. Much longer, much more in depth, and that's something I would like to have for NV. Regarding the location, well if we're getting FO3 style DLC I'd like to see some sort of trip to some other famous Nevada/Fallout locations. The test range, for example. Or Reno. Or Vault 13.

I think there might be another VR add-on like Operation: Anchorage because in the BoS bunker in Hidden Valley someone is working on simulations.
