I been thinking about this im just wondering if there is going to be a add on to skyrim such as quest, land masses because i saw few videos
to it and i been wondering when is going to come out because if it did it would make alot more stuff cool like a new great war where you can fight
the elfs or other quest to it thanks.

There will indeed be DLC that adds new land masses more than likely! Think on the terms of Shivering Isles.

The morrowind gate is just one of 3 gates. IMO they are mearly aesthetic things to make the world feel bigger buy giving the impression that there is land beyond the mountains.

We really have no idea what the DLCs are going to be, the gates could be either one of the other two options included in this thread so far.

Personally, I hope they just focus on adding in more features to gameplay, and not more area to wander around in.

IT SHOULD TOTALLY LEAD TO THE BLACK MARSH AND HAVE ARGONIAN TRIBAL WARFARE THAT WOULD BE AMAZING

Name a single DLC for the past 3 TES games that added gameplay features instead of quest/items/areas. (the answer is none)

The little bit of working information we have on this subject really doesn't help anyone to conclude what exactly we should be expecting, due to vague statements and little insider information.

That is to say, that we could get absolutely bloody anything.

Heck it could be a weapon pack. It could be 2 races. It could be the Hot-coffee of Dragons... we just don't know yet.

Well we know it won't be small like weapon packs or horse armor, they've stated that. They said it'll be in line with the size of SI or Fallout type DLC. Which is big.

My dream DLC would be a return to ANYWHERE in Morrowind!!!!!
