Why dont youll add a pet dog, to run your stuff to sell and make you money it will take time im sure of. But please read and give me your thought on topic its a great idea I think. So you can take your time on quest for the game and make money in the process maybe make a dog vendor or dog is to alert you to get your guard up. Maybe, the dog can attack also u show picture's of the dog on loading screens

There are already dogs. This, however, is Skyrim, and all they do is attack for you.

True, but I don't want my dog going in to town to sell my things for me. He doesn't speak [insert your native language here] nor does a dog have the opposable thumbs that are necessary for engaging in tool making, trading or the like.

Dog vendors? Got em. Vigilance or whatever that pup's name is, does respawn if he is killed, same as the horses.

Dogs all ready have limitted combat, that's good enough. You want a combat follower? Hire Mercurio or snag up some Lydia.

Dogs do alert you to danger as of now. Is it exactly what you're looking for? Probably not... But they do it all ready.

On another note, there is a random occurence with a stray dog that allows you to gain it as a follower. Infinite stray dogs with a small chance of the occurence happening.

I'm not 100% sure, but you'll probably need to wait 30 days for the cell to respawn.

I know I've bought him at least twice.

It takes 72 game hours before they start to head home from where you left, them. Then, it can take a few game days for them to walk across the map to get back home.

I think he means Vigilance died and he's waiting for a new dog to respawn.

Yeah, you can already get a dog in Skyrim.
