sorry, they don't.

if anything they use their own forums, not the publisher's. But I highly doubt they need any help whatsoever in coming up with ideas.

btw, Horse, I've been involved with Splash Damage since 2004 and have closely followed everything since W:ET 2.56

-I would rather let them know that the idea they suggested is not going to be in the game, then just have them wondering until the game comes out, and then possibly being upset that it's not there - perhaps I should candy coat my responses?

No I don't want you to sugar coat ur responses, how do you no its not going to be in game if ur not a dev?! ur contradicting ur self from other posts and it irritates me to an extreme amount of anger.

Not trying to toot my own horn, but I am one of the most knowledgeable members on this board about the game. I try to share the wealth and keep people up to date, answer questions, and whatnot. If you don't like my methods or appreciate my help, then go elsewhere.

I never said I was THE most, I said I was ONE OF the most. I did post a huge info thread, and answer tons of questions. I don't want to come off cocky, but I know a lot on the game - at least from what's been released.

This is all about context - how you interpret them. I really don't see anyone else complaining, and mods have kept them up as well.

If I "know" something isn't going to be in game, it's because I heard it from a dev somewhere - I just relay it to the community.

While I appreciate your shared knowledge, your attitude towards fellow forum goers is rude and pathetic. It really isn't your place to tell someone go elsewhere but merely welcome them to stick around and argue.. That is how forums work. Even if you have them facts.

And on the topic. I vote No! Even if KZ2 full warzone isn't exactly what we are talking about here and SD is taking it further, it was something (even slightly) different and more enjoyable than one of the basic modes.. It is a shame players had option to narrow it down to TDM only, which they eventually did

I dont think you make assumptions i think u think that u no everything about the game even if its not in it yet you sound as if you can predict something just by looking at dev posts, who are you to tell people what is or isnt going to be in a game was wat i wanted to no first. your pathetic, even more pathetic than me if i were at all remotely pathetic before. but you're missing the key concept - I don't care. I have a very black and white personality - you either love me or hate me, there's really no middle ground. And if you are one on the "hate" side, Oh well, I'll still be sleeping well tonight. I am here to share info, maybe share some laughs, and if my company isn't appreciated, you can complain all you want, I'm still going to post. I am who I am, I do what I do, and if you don't like it, well, I guess I can play a tiny violin for you?

Soon there will be loads of new people coming daily (like I just did!) and I bet they'd appreaciate open discussion and fantasising more than being shot down all the time for hearing that the Anger isn't assassin.. Or reading silly debates about who is right and who is not and why is that so.

If they want to "fantasize," maybe they should go play D&D... You see it as "shooting them down," I see it as better informing them or giving them a different point of view, so they aren't so let down when the game is released - That's what I would want someone to do for me.

People will get their facts in time from your or someone elses topic and either accept it or move along. Harsh delivery of facts to every topic from someone who doesn't hold any special SD-related title only stirs unnecessary Anger and makes newcomers feel unwelcome. Even if your intention is pure and good, your attitude can give it a trollish look.

Ok H0RSE, why is this thread still up if you think that the game is good as is WTF?! man i mean really people should be able to voice their own opions obout a f**king game!
who says that the devs are going to stick with just one game mode becuze u said so? i mean really man, let others enjoy have their "voices" heard even if the game keeps it's "one game mode" type of co-op-ness... it makes them feel good. But when a peice of s**t like you comes by and "says" nope, bad idea, hate it, i said so and that means they won't do it... it makes feel like they have no vocie in anything that a game can do, when in reality game devs look at these posts and think "oh, that would be a great idea, we should add that!" or "errr... maybe not that something else."

I personally think there should be more than one game mode so that the game does not get repetative like spore or other games.

but really man lay off the harshness of being a bully-like figure to others, it's mean and i am surprised people don't find something to report you for. Try complimenting others on their ideas instead of says "no not good, etc...."

First of all, this is my thread. It's open because I enjoy reading what others think. Also, I don't like to go through my threads reading others flame each other for illegitimate reasons.

Second, HORSE has compiled an info compendium on Brink from articles, interviews and videos. He does correct people so that they have the correct information, and not once have I considered any one of these comments directed to insult somebody in particular or be impolite.

Third, this reason is a bit contradicting.

This did not happen. He never said because of him Devs won't do it. Also, he is entitled to his opinion, so if he wants to express how he thinks it would be a bad idea, as long as it's in a polite non-flaming way, it's allowed.

Fourth, don't act like you think this is a legitimate reason to yell at HORSE.

That's not true. While Devs will look at these posts, they said on interviews and videos that their opinion is to not add additional gametypes to the mix, because they want Brink to be as unique as possible, not generic.

Last, you should watch what you're posting.. This is a clean forum. It is some of the top rules to not flame, not spam, and to keep it as swear free as possibly.

Sorry but there is little hope for this thread. If I edit out the flames and reponses to flames there will be no thread left. If someone wants to try again with a new thread for this discussion feel free to do so minus the flames and flamebait. When two or three folks use up the entire thread to call one another names and be rude to one another it ruins the thread for any type of meaningful and interesting discussion for anyone else. Warnings will be issued. Personal agendas and disputes between two people should be done via pm or left alone.
