Advice on finding new tasks and places

Post » Tue Jul 17, 2012 7:19 pm

I have played Skyrim for well over 150 hrs and have completed all the major quests, but still have only found less than 400 of the locations. I belive there is supposed to be over 600 total. How can I find more things to do and more places? I go to all the cities and villages and speak to any NPC I can find and none seem to give me a task or send me anywhere new. If they do give me something to do it's just a repeat of a task I did before.

Is the only option to just wonder around the world and hope to stumble into a new place/location?

Also...why do I have many Misc tasks that won't activate the map? Is this a common bug?

Thanks,

Some tasks don't show you where you need to go. Most do, not all locations have a quest associated with them either, so yeah if you want to find the rest then go and explore.

Not all locations are tied to quests, so you'll have to start walking around and discovering locations. If you stuck with the main quest only, and maybe a few sideline quests, I don't know if this will be enough to open all the areas on the map.

At 150 hours, I haven't even made it past the Oblivion scroll yet. :D
