I don't understand this line of reasoning. When a camera takes a picture of a person, they are merely imprinting colours into pixels that are small enough to trick our eyes into seeing that person. When you see a photograph of a beautiful woman and admire it, you are "staring at pixels made the resemble [insert word]".
It's not really as weird as you're implying for a fictional character created for a game to look attractive. In fact, it's probably more weird of you to look at one of the characters and just see pixels, the human mind is an amazing thing and it can look past the cartoonesque, fabricated woman and see what it wants to - what do you think the average male *wants* to see?
