After 45 hours, the game freezes after loading several savef

I've clocked in 47 hours or so, and just out of the blue the game freezes on me. Which is nothing unusual cause spread over those hours, it happened several times. So i reboot the Xbox 360 and try it again, it freezes right away. Ok so the savefile is clearly corrupt. Let's clear the system cache and try again , loading up another savegame, a different one...guess what, it freezes right away, oh no!!!

So i looked on google and found this link

http://segmentnext.com/2010/10/19/fallout-new-vegas-errors-crashes-freezes-fixes/

It says i should clear the system cache, remove the game from my HDD and start it up directly from the HDD and then it should be fine. But it's not, no matter what savefile i select, it freezes after a few seconds of loading. I had my fair share of freezings in Fallout 3, but never that every single freakin savefile froze. WTF!!! I guess however i can consider myself lucky cause not all the saves are making my game freeze. Basically it's the first four to five savegames(which means latest saves, includes the autosave) all savefiles before that, load up fine. I however have lost significant progress. Is there anything i can do?

I've had a similar problem twice before, try this, hopefully it works (unless you've did this already), go to one of your earlier saves, play a little while (10-20mins.), quit back to the main title screen, load up last current save, and hopefully you'll be able to play it. First time i had that problem, had to restart whole game, corrupt save file i assume, second time i did what i just posted and it cleared the problem.

Thanks alot, i'm definitely gonna try it. I'll play for 20 minutes , save it. And then return to the main menu and reload that one savefile that kept freezing on me. I'm just glad not all of my savefiles were hurt. However, i'm now first gonna copy the savefiles to a USB stick, for safekeeping.

EDIT

Nope i tried it, it didn't do anything for me. It jjust froze again.
