after patch 1.4

Did the 1.4 patch make it possible to do the civil war quests before you start the main quest, with out messing up your game? Thanks to anyone that can answer this for me

I have no idea what all these patches are supposed to be doing. They're certainly not fixing quests, and other major concerns.

The last patch actually fixed the briarheart issue.. sort of. Once I fired up the game it said that I had a briarheart and completed that part of the quest and that I was supposed to return to (whatshisname) for the white phial. So that was great... of course, I still can't drop any briarhearts because they are "quest" items. dangit.

The 'master criminal' achievement is patched in some more countries (not in belgium...)

On my second playthrough, I did as much of the civil war quest without starting the main quest without any problems.

Well, actually, to get to the battle of whiterun, you have to get up to the point where you find you are dragonborn. This isn't a bug.

Glad to hear that; that bit was a major one.

I meant from the other end of that broken quest--I can't complete Annekke Crag-Jumper's quest to make her a follower.
Not really a huge deal to me, but broken quests really get on my freaking nerves.

How about an update to fix broken quests, Beth? These are well-known issues, and are very common across the board.
How about you remove the hostile, invincible Unbound Dremora that decided to camp out in front of the Winterhold Jarl house? The only downside to having him around is that he freaking slaughters everything on sight, including the citizens.
I already did all the Bard College quests; and yet my checklist tells me to visit the Bard College.

I'm just sayin, what's the deal.
