oooo... this hits me in a sensitive spot... I hate it when the jock gets the girl... I mean seriously. Big muscles, football team, life of the party, failing grades (in most cases). It seems when girls do this, all they want is some big shot so they can bask in the lime light. Friggin hate women who do this... I hope this girl isn't like that, because I would say cut your losses and get out while you still can.

If said girl fell for the whole 'Mr. Football' thing, it seems to me that said girl isn't that great of a catch in the first place.

This happened to me, I didn't make a move first and the other guy did so accepted my loss and moved on to better things, it happens :shrug:

She chose to be with someone else, you just have to deal with it and move on. Chalk it up to experience and find someone else.

All things considered are you even sure she's someone you want to be with ? If she likes someone who you consider to be a jerk then that implies her personality is more in line with his way of thinking than yours so logically you can assume she's not really your type anyway.

I don't think you should seek her out but rather some girl who like you for you and who would dislike said jerk for being a jerk, a girl who shares your line of thinking.
