So yeah.. i got to Novac. I saw the night guy up in the Mouth of the Dino and he had a hunter's rifle with a scope on it so i wanted to check it out. I used the 'kill' command to check out his gear. After i ooo'ed and awweee'ed I reloaded an old save and continued. Well.. when i recruited him I didn't get the achievement. WHYYY OH WHYYYY IS this SOOO???

Recruit all 8 or just 1?

Oh, that one. I've got the achievement for recruiting all of the companions; if he's the last on your list, then something bad/glitchy has happened. But if he's not, you've got a bit of a ways to go

Because you used the console, which disables achievements for that play session?

That's what it sounds like to me.

If you close the game and relaunch it, then load a save from before you killed him, you should be OK.

bah.. shut off game, tried again still no Companion achievement. It's the achievement just for recruiting ONE member. man .. i'm grumpy. Just because iw anted to see someone's gearzzz. Even grumpier cause i ahd something better anyway lol

might have been a glitch cause i just got a few achievements for doing other stuff. oh well.
