Like all FPS games, there will always be someone who manages to get around game security. As already stated - The only real way that a game can battle hackers and aimbots is to have an active staff who are able to tell when someone is cheating, which is a difficult skill; as well as patching to prevent them after the fact. What will set Brink apart, however is the option to play Co-Op vs competent AI.
A week or two ago, there was a public hack released (for free) for the game Crossfire. Until the next patch, just about every single room had at least one blatant hacker(wall hacking, speed hacking, aimbot, 1-hit-kill, infinite ammo, 0 spread, you name it), and thats not even counting players who can actually hide the fact that they were wall hacking. I was basically forced to quit the game for a while as it was no longer any fun. If this happens in Brink, you have the option of just playing Co-Op with your friends until the next security patch.
