FO3 worked somewhat better, but for me once I got a big save around 9-10MB with the GOTY edition it wouldn't work at all. unfortunately, the only way to play this game and at the same time enjoy it is by getting the PC version, which is still somewhat buggy.
3-5 crashes a day is still something you shouldn't have to put up with, period. hiccups are expected in a game of this size, yes, but the freezes are absolutely inexcusable. also, you should really get your system checked out if it's making clicking noises. mine was too, because some futureshop employee dropped it on the ground while it was in the box. I didn't see this, but the corner of the box was crushed in. I had to send it in to Sony and they replaced the HDD and repaired the disc tray, w/e disc tray there is... not saying you dropped your system, but I had the same issues with my HDD, so just a suggestion. not that it's the cause for the NV freezing, it'd just be best to get it fixed before it gets worse and your HDD craps out on you.
