Alcachemy Question

Post » Fri Jul 06, 2012 3:55 am

My frind is playing and useing the alcaemy table and fails to make a potion and his skill does not improve.
My question is why not do we not learn from are mistakes.
Also some of the books in the game tell you what some ingredents effects are but unless you read it yourself you will never know.

Well, you do learn from your mistakes but you don't learn from them in game but you do in real life.
By attempting to mix two ingredients together, and you fail to create something you now know that those ingredients cannot produce anything.
I am sure you can find many recipes in game and on the internet, every ingredient has a set of four qualities, when mixed with ingredients that have similar qualities you get a potion or poison.

For a second I thought Babette made this thread. :teehee:

To train the skill, I used a small list that showed a handful of recipes that are the most efficient for raising it quickly. I'm not sure if it's obsolete by now, but if you're interested, I'd be happy to write it for you here in a bit.

I don't learn alchemy skills from atrocious spelling errors.
