St. Alessia the first Dragonborn "Dovahkiin"?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 10:42 am

Hi, I opened this topic because I have a question, I started searching in the internet who was the first Dragonborn, and then I found this: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dovahkiin

There says that the first person who got the first title of Dragonborn was a woman, who was a slave in cyrodiil. Now I am asking, is that what the story is telling can be true? In this DLC we will fight against St.Alessia? Since there in the trailer says that we will fight against the first of the first dargonborns, in the video I thought it was a male, but after read that article, there says that was a woman that was the first dragonborn xD So im confused, or I understood wrong or something lol

Hope you guys can answer this one :)

I think there is a topic around here somewhere debating this topic. My guess is that the history books just omitted this "First" Dragonborn and promoted Alessia instead. Propaganda and all that jazz.

It says she was the first to be associated with the title Dragonborn, it's possible that there were others before but they just weren't given a name for what they were. Correct me if I'm wrong but
Spoiler
when the player obtains the Elder Scroll and goes back in time to learn Dragonrend, didn't that take place before St. Allesia? or even before the whole uprising began, when the Dragons and Dragonpriests had power over Skyrim.

Sorry, but what are you implying? Anyone can use the voice given enough training. Dovahkiins can just use it better and easier.

This topic was done to the death on this forum.

No you will not fight St.Allesia. She was dragonborn but wasn't the thu'um yelling, dragon soul absorbing badass dragonborn type. More of a "I have the ears of a god. And his hame is Akatosh" type dragonborn.

It is clearly said. That only Nords can natively use the voice and training takes years. And the outcome is silly compared to the dragonborn inborn abbilty. You are saying that everyone could be Einstein given enough learning? That's a good one. Never heard this joke before.
