Algebra 2/Pre-Calc help.

Post » Mon Aug 29, 2011 9:40 am

Ok in Pre-Calc we're reviewing Algebra 2 and on my homework I have this problem.

√54xy4 And this is how I've worked it out so far.

√54xy4

√32(6)xy4

3y2 √6x

Did I do that right? I just keep thinking I havent reduced it fully but I cant think of what to do next.

EDIT: Also need some help on this one:

√32a4/b2

√25a4/b2

4a2/b √2

That is what I have so far.

That's about as far as I got in high school. That was 3 years ago. I'd be interested in knowing the answer too as I'm retaking my assessment for math. Sorry since this is no help to you.
