Alik′r help

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 10:03 am

Im trying to find some Alik′r to kill for their armor and scimitars. Anyone know where I can find some? And will killing one turn me hostile with all Alik′r? (even with no witnesses)

Wander the streets south of Rorikstead or towards Markarth... You can find two Alik'r harrassing a female redguard sometimes ;) They walk on afterwards, and they aren't strong at all.

If you do the quest "In My Time of Need" in Whiterun, you get the chance to kill some Alik'r and get their stuff. It starts in the Bannered Mare in Whitrun.

Location of a band of Alik'r, and other locations of the clothes and scimitars:

Spoiler
Swindlers Den, a cave in the plains of Whiterun west of the city. It's full of bandits, but right at the end you will come to an area with a waterfall which is full of about 4-5 Alik'r as well as their leader, Kematu. They are present both before and after the completion of the 'In My Time of Need' quest.

Also, you can buy the entire suit (Alik'r Hood, Hammerfell Garb, Redguard Boots) from Radiant Raiment in Solitude. Just north of Solitude a corsair ship is moored full of enemies, but several of them carry scimitars.

Hope that's helpful  Scimitars are the most badass dual wielded blade in the game hands down

Along with my avatar, you can probably tell I'm quite the Redguard / Hammerfell fan

I remember when I did the "In my time of need" quest, I quicksaved and decided to attack Kematu as a double-cross to see what would happen. He pulled out dual scimitars and proceeded to get me to a fraction of my health in three moves. I reloaded and decided NOT to mess with him. The guy's badass.

The first time I did 'in my time of need', I got to the back of Swindler's Den and proceeded to get in a fight with all 8 alik'ir. I opened with a sneak attack that gutted the first one, and then read a mass frenzy scroll which had the rest of the room fighting each other. Then I just danced around the fight picking people off, and sauntered back to the Bannered Mare and collected my reward from Saadia.
