Alik'r Warriors are so nice. :)

Post » Sat Jul 14, 2012 11:47 am

So after walking into Whiterun, those two Alik'r Warriors were standing there talking to that guard and so I walk up to them and they give their "You there..blah blah blah" and I was given the dialog option "Hello" and after using this he says to me "I appreciate our friendship, here, have this" He then gives him a single Septim and allows me to continue on with my little adventures. Anyone have any similar stories?

it mite sound odd...but my experiences from morrowind to skyrim leaves me more open and trusting towards Redguards than nords...maybe its the voice actor haha but nearly every nord encounter has them double crossing the player or not being honest. and they a tad ignorant towards the other races... at least the Mer have somewhat logical reasons for being [censored]s to everyone...however twisted it may be at times. yeah Khajiit an nords...dont trust them... but Redguard, Bosmer and Argonians for some reason have garnered my respect and admiration. btw i always play Dunmer. But i am trying an Orc.

It's just a coin, I wouldn't get all emotional and start loving Redguards over it. xD I like your point though.

Exact same location, I was walking up to talk to the man in charge and the first Redguard I bump into says "Good evening."

Very polite, those Hammerfell boys. Can't imagine anyone siding with Saadia with manners like those!

Exactly! I sat down inside the Bannermare, she came to ask me if I wanted anything..SHE asked ME the question, I turned her down and she rudely replied "Now please, no more questions" the nerve of that girl!

The guards nudge them back with a stick.

Fun story... I wanted to check out a kill animation a friend of mine was gushing about, so I picked up the weapon in question, quicksaved behind Amren in Whiterun, and just as I was about to hit the power attack he wheeled around and said "You've been a good friend to me, and that means something. I want you to have this." and gave me like.. a tomato.

Regardless, I couldn't test it on him anymore. Coincidence that he was also a Redguard?! POLITE SOCIETY, THOSE HAMMERFELL BOYS.

The blacksmith in Whiterun (forget her name) gave me a book last time I was in town. Getting gifts seems to be rare. I've only gotten a hand full in my 500+ hours.

I've never gotten gifts from anyone within my 700-800 hours in which the most evil I have done was doing the thieves guild quest line on only one character D:
do people just prefer not to give gifts to Khajiit? '-'

They're completely random. Gifts aren't all that great anyway. Some guy in riverwood gave me a ruined book =/ what am I supposed to do with that?

You can turn it into a spell book after becoming a master at conjuration and doing the quest from the summoner at the College of Winterhold

I got a present from Nazeem recently. He said something like "You are new here right? You don't seem as useless as rest of these losers."

Nazeem? Really? I've always thought of him as an arrogant, stuck-up jerk...
