you'd need to post video-related information for anyone to be particularly helpful. I'd guess the CPU is probably marginal, so you'd definitely need to reduce the graphics settings.

Your ram's enough, your processor's borderline. I'm not seeing a video card in that list though, and it'll probably be the deciding factor.

Also, whoo hoo, Skrillex!

I'd say try and boot up oblivion, most of my friends who weren't sure discovered skyrim ran better than oblivion on their PCs...

Can`t tell what your graphics card is. If it`s onboard or you `don`t know` it probably won`t run Skyrim.

You`d be better to run Control panel and go to System and `view ram and Processor speed`.

Providing I'm on the right bit

Processor: Intel® Celeron® CPU p4600 @ 2.00GHz 2.00.GHz
RAM 4.00GB (3.68 GB usable)

Hopefully that might help. Sorry if not :/

I've always wondered why your apostrophes (the ' if memory serves right) looked odd. Do you have a foreign keyboard or do you do that to add a bit of flair?

Also, I am sorry for derailing the thread, please continue.

No it doesn't. That's the processor and the ram

Is it an eMachine laptop? I think this Acer sub-brand only deals in cheap notebooks without the necessary 'horsepower' to run a modern game. (namely a powerful, discrete graphic processor)

I looked up the system model you posted in the first post. It's an e-machines eME529 laptop right?

If so I'm afraid it uses integrated Intel graphics, which will not cut the mustard. Not even close. I'm sorry to say you will definately not be able to run skyrim on that laptop.

the CPU is just barely able to play on low. Ram is enough. Now its your graphics card that determine if you can play.
If you have an intel graphics card(not a real GPU, but an integrated one), Intel HD 3000 is the minimum GPU you can run
Not sure about Geforce or ATI though, but any graphics card that is 2-3 year old can actually run skyrim

Still need graphic card info. Your ram`s good, but you`re processor is not so great. But i`m 99% certain if you don`t have a dedicated graphics card it won`t run.

What videocard do you have? Without knowing what card or on-board graphics are in place it's very difficult to make a call. Pretty much a blind guess at best.

I have no idea. We could always call it `flair`! It`s the keyboard though, i`m pretty sure, I really need a new one. It often misses keys too.

HD3000 is only avaliable on the latest generation of i3 processors or above.

I'm afraid the OP has just the plain old Intel? HD Graphics chipset. :(

Definitly won't run and to make matters worse you can't do anything about it because it's a notebook. Actually, it's not even a notebook but a webbook, meaning it is designed for basic internet usage, multimedia and communication with Skype and the likes. eMachines cater for this market almost exclusively. Even their desktop PC range is designed for very basic internet and multimedia usage. The desktops can be upgraded to a pretty decent level at least but with a notebook you're stuck.

If you like/need to know more about your computer, go to Start, then Run, type in DXDIAG and hit enter.

The diagnostic report that comes up provides very detailed info about what your computer is running. Whether or not you have a separate video card, that will also be listed, under the Display tab at the top.

If you ever think about upgrading your computer, for gaming purposes, make sure the rig has a separate video card (which has its own RAM). If it says "integrated" video/chipset, or anything similar, it will not handle graphics requirements needed by most of today's games. If you see something like NVIDIA GTX 390 w/1 GB RAM or ATI HD 7690 w/1 GB RAM - that's a separate video card and you'll be good to go.

PS: Video card numbers are made up and do not reflect real life numbers lol.

Good luck.
