I left this same entry on the Nexus forums as well, maybe someone can help.

I am having a major problem and can't tell what has caused or is causing it. All of my game supplied music has stopped running, there are no ambient sounds such as foot falls, jumping, climbing, wind; nothing that was game supplied. All sounds supplied via seperate .esp's (e.g. Sounds of Skyrim and the like) work fine. Just noting else. I've been going through and turning off mods; but nothing seems to help. Has anyone else experienced this; or, does anyone have any idea how to fix it? Have recompiled all files via Steam, and that didn't work either.

i have eyeinfinity and cant see the inventory at all I have tried the Fix still not luck. I have complained to the BBB about this since Skyrim is supposed to support eyeinfinity. I am ready so star a class action lawsuit for fals advertisemant. I wish i could play this game but oh well no such luck at the moment. Thank you bethesda. So a big F... Y.. to bethesda and the game developers. May you all go to H... I WANT MY $$$$$$$$$ BACK NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As, no one seems to have any idea as to the problem; hence, no answers or inquiries, I will take this one step further. I have been picking up bits and pieces of information, while trolling the different forums (Nexus and gamesas) for answers. Seems one culprit I keep hearing about is the CHSBHC Skeleton and their accompanying meshes; having affected sound on numerous systems. Has anyone reading this,heard of /or encountered such problems; even if they seemed miniscule? I really don't want to have to tear appart my meshes folder, and rebuild; if I don't have too.

Just to pass on some updated information. I contacted the Steam Help desk and had them remove the HD Texture pack from my account. After shutting Steam down and restarting and removeing the Hd Tex. bsa's and esp's from my Data folder. I went into Skyrim, All sound has been restored, all music, footfalls everything is back. The HD textures, somehow screwed it all up. Thought I'd put this out to the masses.
