To all those bad guys out there!

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 7:55 am

I never play as a "bad guy" but I've been wondering, when you become an outlaw is there a place for you go i.e. join the ranks of bandits?

I seem to remember something like this in Fallout.

Cheers!

Yea, it's called the thieves guild and dark brotherhood.

Fallout not so much, they wouldn't let us join the Raiders… Great Khans to a lower extent….

I play an "evil" character but I go wherever I want and have no problems with the law.

They let us join the slavers on a few fallout games.

In fallout you could kind of become a slaver. I had a slaver character and it was quite fun actually.

to be evil in skyrim you can actually kill the riverwood holy chicken. After that you'll be hunted even if you saved all their souls.

The closest to an outlaw you can get is the Thieve's Guild, and that is hardly close. I tend to play an anti-hero since I always preferred them. I don't care if anti-heroes are written terribly oftentimes, I love them. Grey areas are where it's at for me. I have never played as a psycho killer in any Bethesda game for some reason.

Well my point is that when you kill an innocent its pointless to refuse to pay your fine/serve time as pretty much the whole world is closed off to you (as hostile guards/NPC's will attack you). I know you can go to other holds but what if you actually had the option to become an outlaw Dragonborn? Trading and dealing with the bandit camps instead of the cities. That would really be open world stuff.

These are bad? LOL! I never thought of them this way. I figured TG was a band of Robin Hoods and DB rid Skyrim of those who made life hell.

And I was a good guy doing Skryim a favor. :D

that sounds like a pretty awesome idea.
you could also trade with khajit caravans but good luck seeing them on the road.
this reminds me,im hoping the two factions in dawngaurd have some sort of trader in the castles.

Yes and it might give some reason for the bandits having forges and alchemy lab etc. I would love to see them raid a caravan with supplies and then the player can buy them from their inventory, maybe even join them on said raids. You could become a real outlaw using your dragon shouts to enforce you will, even a side quest, where you conquer Skyrim, not for the empire or stormcloaks but for my right as high King hahahahaha!

In earlier Fallout games you could kill children, which I think got you universally despised by almost everyone in the game. Also in Fallout 3 you could enslave a child for the slavers in Paradise Falls, also you could then enslave certain NPC's.
