Man, whenever this game downloads something it absolutely castrates the internet for my entire house. I downloaded the client, and I'm currently downloading an update. It's been virtually impossible to get online whenever it's downloading something.

EDIT: It only slows my internet a lot right now (downloading the update), but pages still load. When the client was downloading, though, I couldn't do [censored].

EDIT 2: This launcher is making me crazy nostalgic for WoW (haven't played in years) . I hope it's good.

It gave me a similar problem. The download worked fine, but while it was running all of my browsers would start throwing me a "Connection has been reset" error whenever I tried to load a page. Usually pausing the download then starting it again would work for a while, but it'd throw the error again later.

I've tried a few classes and the game seems well made, but it starts to bore me as soon as I finish the tutorial. I don't know how to build my character. The talent system is pretty weak and uninspired compared to WoW itself. The Luck stat seems really overpowered but I'm afraid if I keep picking it I'll stunt my character. I really like how some magic spells can be precast and stored for later use, though.

Argh, my connection keeps breaking, and I can't tell if it's the game or my own internet.

Anyway, just finished the tutorial and am trying to get through the Health Center quests...though I keep getting booted off.

Ugh, I don't know what the deal is, but I'm lucky if I can play for 10 minutes before the game boots me off and I need to reset my router. I've been having router issues for the past few weeks, but it's never been this frequent.

I'll try playing again later tonight, but otherwise I probably won't get back on until tomorrow.

I've been playing Allods a bit over the past few days and it's been quite fun, however it reminds me how much I hate grinding. I need to get into Xaes to find Nezeb's Staff in order to complete the pilgrimage, however I need to be level 10 to get in and I'm only level 7, so I need to grind out 3 levels through quests and killing.

I've also been playing, waiting f?r Exo, who never came on.
Already lvl 22, 8 levels past exo.

Polished game, nice setting. Probably the best free mmo I've tried, but if we dont get some people playing I probably wont play.for much longer.

Currently level 11, need to get through Xaes. I tried going through solo and managed to kill 2 elites, levels 9 and 10, before I gave up and left . If anybody is playing, I could use some help.

I don't know how to convince you...I mean, if you have a decent internet connection you can have it downloaded and updated in just an hour or two. If you've ever played WoW and liked it but didn't want to continue due to the monthly fee, it's definitely worth trying.

Nope, they changed that a couple of months ago.

You can still use the item shop to level faster and stuff but it's not an issue at max level

Just out of curiosity, does the game ever get more populated? I'm still in Nezebgrad (will be until I finish Xaes), however most of the time it's quite empty.

I do not play WoW graphics.

As long as you download from the link in the first post (the EU website), you will be downloading the EU client.

I'm on Zax or whatever the EU server is under Tassadaar.
