Alright Bethesda, this is getting insane...

Post » Sun Feb 20, 2011 10:44 pm

This is my problem, *Yes, I read every pinned topic*

So I go to play fallout NV today, nothing different, because I am near the end of the game and want to kill some stuff, and,

My quick save freezes my console, EVERY TIME. S

o I go to my save about 15-20 minutes before that, no biggy,
It requires DLC to start,

Okay an hour before that,
It requires DLC to start

2 days before that *rage begins*
It requires DLC to start

I went through 15 saves, EVERY ONE OF THEM REQUIRES DLC BUT MY QUICK SAVE AND IT JUST FREEZES...

So what I am saying is, Should the FIRST thing Bethesda fix's is the Xbox 360 save loading issue?

Theres more to a thread than just a poll guys, post to keep this thing alive. Sure, it's the norm here, but still should have some consideration and not dumped into the next pages.

I feel for you guys.

I think I would cry if I lost my 70 hours on NV.

My advice is make a copy all your saves onto a USB and unplug it from the 360 while you play, that way at least you'll have your uncorrupted ones when the patch hits.

Thank god I only rented it, I know better than to buy a Bethesda/Obsidian game on launch because they ALWAYS have massive open world game play thats glitch tacular. But I am definatly going to just re buy this game in January and float around these forums just incase.

Probably someone like me who's sick of seeing the forum cluttered with 10 new threads a day on the same subject. Obviously people don't understand that one thread with their information is more helpful than a new thread with a title that doesn't even hint at what the problem is.

Did bethesda actually play test this game? Because if they tested the final copy with 5 people for about 15 hours apiece, they would have seen this

YEAH! That's the answer! Here I thought people wanted their game fixed and my advice to keep information centralized would help that. Instead they'd rather clutter the forums and cry about how Obsidian isn't acting fast enough. But you're right, I'm the one who's wrong here. I mean it's not like I have 80 hours played, having finished my game and reading about issues and testing them just so I can come here and offer CONSTRUCTIVE ADVICE TO HELP. But by all means, keep up the indignation and telling others they need to leave.

If everyone like me left all you'd have around here is a bunch of spoiled brats yelling at Obsidian while the other spoiled brats quoted them saying "So true!", "You're 100% right", "I demand this!", "I demand that too!".

edit: just voted no, because maybe beth will read this and not help with these issues.

I'm so sick of companies ripping people off. TEST THE FUC**NG GAME before you release it. I just lost 16 hours of game play because of this stupid bug. I can't imagine them not knowing about it. I've been a game tester and this would of been seen. They just release it to apease the big bosses that set the release dates, and piss off the whole community because of it. F U guys! Waste my time an my money.
Do I really want to play 16 hours to get back to the point where my charactor froze. No I don't. What if it happens again? Unbelievable. Give me my money back so I can go play a game that isn't broke.

So you would rather have people yell forever? Your argument is EXTREMELY stupid, and if people DIDNT come and complain of it happening, THEN beth wouldn't think it is a big deal, WHEN IT IS.

Lets see, if 1,000 people complain, they will fix it,

if 10, they probably won't. I am honestly glad your not a game designer, because you'd be terrible at it.

They are working on it.
On consoles, we are aware that a small group of 360 users are seeing a DLC warning which is preventing you from loading save games. We are absolutely looking into this bug now, along with other reports of save game corruption. It is our highest priority right now that we find out what is causing it. In the meantime, we recommend you save often, and revert to an older save if this occurs.

the thing that gets me, the real kicker, is during all this waiting and not being able to play, they expect us just to wait. No time frame but just wait. Like a bunch of dogs waiting to get its food, just wait and keep wagging your tail. I dont want to wait to play a NEW game that i PAID for, a week ago.

What worries me is that the patch won't even fix our current corrupted saves but just fix the issue for future saves.

Tha's what I'm worried about too. After reverting back to an older working save file as suggested, the file I reverted back to ended up getting corrupted as well so I'm not left with much now.

They say revert to an older save.I have 7 saves.6 corrupted and the oldest one leads to corrupted saves.Good
advice there Obsidian. Why not put a warning on the box saying,"This game has not been tested for glitches
whatsoever .Be prepared to wait till we fix this broken game. Thanks for trusting us with your
hard earned money."

You're right. You're wrong and you're of no use here. AND, if you actually DID vote no JUST SO Obsidian doesn't fix the problem, it shows just how much of a scumbag you truly are.

Yea because people mad about being scammed of thier money are such trolls. Because people the are unable to play the game because the Devs couldn't spend 12 hours playing their game! We are such trolls for asking a company to atleast try to put out a good product! Oh what trolls we are, because you know if your T.V. blew up and they guy's down the street didn't you are unfairly blaming the company for the T.V. blowing up. You know what thats EXACTLY what happen a VOCAL GROUP of people bought a game and they are unable to play it because the devs where lazy. My T.V. blew up and yours can to! However because it hasn't happen to you, you are under the understanding that all the people that it is happening to are crazy. That sir is just wrong.

No need to worry about that, because that's exactly what will happen. If a patch repairs corrupted files then I will eat my FONV disc.

Coming from you that's a compliment. If you really believe that ANY poll on these forums will change anything at all then you're a bigger fool than I am a scumbag.
