Alright the new Nvidia drivers are amazing.

Go and get them. I can now play Skyrim on Ultra with Vsync on and have a constant SOLID 60fps no matter where i go or what I do. I have never in my life seen a graphics driver make this big a difference.

EDIT: And oh yeah, I have the HQ Texture DLC packs installed too. Along with HQ realistic water mod and realistic lighting

This artwork is great. It comes from a little known FTP card game called PoxNora. It's a FTP game from SOE. You can actually find it on Steam. I love Vampires and any Vampire that looks like Peter Steele in assaulted by nvde babes is win.

Got the driver this morning, I love it really improved my fps, I finally get between get between 30-60 FPS before it was 18-46 FPS, everything is slowly falling into place, all I need is a few more patches to fix the game some more (even though I aint experienced any bugs other than the blood on the ice).

Saw this thread a little bit ago and said [censored] it, I got nothing to lose by trying out new drivers. I was pleasantly surprised when I loaded up an old save from Markarth and found I was getting 60+ fps where previously I had been getting 38.

Are these special drivers for Skyrim specifically or are they just drivers you get off of nVidia's website?

I'm asking because last time there was, 'Amazing Skyrim Driver I couldn't find where to download them.

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us. I have a GTX 470, so I'm not sure if that changes anything, but the difference has been like night and day...that's not to say that 38 fps in Markarth is bad, but 60+ is lots better.

Not sure I'd call it a miracle, but they do seem to work.

Yeah, I got a new driver for my 9800GTX+ a few hours ago, it seems to be a blanket release. I haven't gone in-game yet to see if it improved anything, though.
