Hi all. Does anyone know where to find or buy Alteration Spell Toms? I am spacifically looking for a spell that will paralyze other NPCs. I went to the college of winterhold but I found nothing and even enrolled in their school to end up not really learning a thing other than how to do a ward then Ironically becoming arch mage of the entire college without knowing a whole lot about magic...

So if anyone knows where to find some Alteration Spell toms let me know!

They will be at the college, but the Alteration vendor (Tolfdir) won't sell them until your Alteration skill is higher. It's the same with all the schools.

The college of winterhold sells all variations of spells with different vendors. In the case of Alteration, Tolfdir is the person you are looking for. Unfortunately (as is the case for all college vendors) they don't start selling the advanced books until your skill level in that field is appropriate.

paralyze is an expert level spell and Tolfdir won't sell it until your alteration is at least 60.
