Blood vessles and cells have been found in dinosaur fossils. It's rare but it has happened.

Not a dinosaur but Mammoths are prehistoric, and Dragons are close enough :D.

I could maybe see Draugr bleeding. . . I mean, technically there might be some preserved blood in their tissue, but I don't see how bleeding would actually hurt them, as they are, of course, already dead.

I think it's because of magic.

Not a dinosaur but Mammoths are prehistoric, and Dragons are close enough .

Saber Tooths (Saber Teeth?) are also prehistoric. Unfortunately no dinosaurs, but Oblivion and Morrowind had Daedroths which were pretty close. But I digress.

I for one, do not believe that they are just skeletons. I believe their flesh is simply invisible.

You're playing a game with Zombies, magical moving skeletons, dragons and talking dogs. And you question how there could be blood in said zombies? Well It's easy it's magic.

Yup. Should be dust that flies form them when you hit them with a hammer, not blood. I'm sure there will be (or already is) a mod for that.

Oh snap!

You don't mind all manners of weird crap like... DRAGONS and MAGIC, and UNDEAD in the first place, but you question the validity of an attack effect that applies to everything regardless of it's status as a living being.

That's a very logical thing to do. Very.

Let's add a little Arkham Horror to the mix.

You realize Draugr shouldn't bleed. That isn't their blood. It's yours. Lose 2 stamina. Roll a will check. If you fail, lose 1 sanity. If you're driven insane, you're lost in time and space, somewhere under Alduin's armpit.

you can argue that there's more than enough things that cant be natural, but he does have a point, hitting a skeleton should not result in blood all over the place.

you kinda need more justification than "its magic" reanimating corpses isnt a new concept, neither are dragons, and both have been written about and explained several times, but I have yet to read about bleeding skeletons in an actual book....
