Amazing Cheese tactic in Mzinchaleft

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 6:56 am

Okay, at the end of the Mzinchaleft crawl, there's this Centurion, right?
Well, it only activates when you get close enough to it, and it deactivates when you move away ... even when you continue to cast fireballs at it. So find the sweet spot and you can rip it apart from range while it sits there being inert.
Feature? Glitch?

Well, my assassin doesn't give that thing a chance to even activate. One arrow shot from the shadows usually does the trick. LOL I guess they are sound activated? No clue LOL

LOL you know, that was my first thought as well. Maybe melt some cheese over those Centurions, so they are all sticky and can't move hahahahaha

Okay, now we need to make a mod for that.
Lets see, make an alchemy poison using cheese as an ingredient; script it to do +200 dmg to Centurions; done.

Wow. I honestly thought it involved cheese as well...
Even as i was reading the part where he says,
"they deactivate as you move away",
i honestly assumes he was gunna say
"all you have to do is roll a cheese wheel to it
and it will activate long enough for you to kill it"

You sir, have let me down. I want cheese tactics. You modders, make it happen!

Even though im on xbox... ):

Speaking of cheese...

Anyone else throw up a little bit in their mouth everytime they run across a Mammoth Cheese Bowl? Yech! :yuck:

guys! Brilliant new tactic to kill centurions! They're so old and poorly programmed that if you roll a cheese wheel by them, they'll focus on trying to kill the cheese wheel instead of attacking you!

oh, how I wish.

Heh, when I saw the thread title I was expecting to find a video of a guy wearing Sheogorath's outfit while casting a 'drop 2500 cheese wheels into the room' spell.

Funnily enough, if you grab a piece of cheese you can use it like a club and beat the thing to death. Granted it will take a while, but since any impact from a physics-bound object deals damage to the actor that is hit by it, you will eventually kill it this way assuming you can take the abuse it will be handing out in response.

If your Smithing is high enough, you can use a grindstone to improve the cheese wheel. Turn it into a sharp cheese. :D

OMG I love this "cheesy" thread! hahahahahaha

Hmm, let's see what kind of Cheesy Tactics we have so far:

* Poor hot melted cheese over "Tin Man"
* Roll a cheese wheel past him, to focus his attention
* Beat Tin Man up with a "SHARP" Cheese Wheel
* Make him sick with a Mammoth Cheese Bowl... wait what?

First person to post a youtube clip of the centurion being killed with nothing more than telekenysis and cheese wheels wins.
Hell, you can even use goats cheese wedges if you like.

I was soo disappointed the first time I ran into a centurion. They really need a fix. More HP (I Know this is usually a weak fix, but they are supposed to be a walking piece of armor so I think it fits) , better detection abilities (to stop the cheese the OP mentions), and a bit faster movement and more stopping power. Right now they are just pushovers and moreso than they should be considering they are the "boss" of the dwarven ruins. I guess this will have to go to the modding community.

You can always use Telekinesis and smack it around with a cheese wheel until it dies..

I thought this thread was about those amazingly aged Dwemer cheese wedges we find in the ruins. Damn that stuff must be loaded with preservatives.
