Ammo boxes bugged. Why? Won't give me ammo. Dropping it does

Post » Sun Jun 26, 2011 9:44 pm

Alright, this is p-i-s-s-i-n-g me off beyond belief, (Way to go, Bethesda, lets put censors on the forum even though pretty much all the games on here are rated 18+, makes sense to me)

Using the latest patch, tried dropping everything I own and it still doesn't work. Simply dropping the ammo boxes and picking them up will not give me the ammo, and this bug was supposed to be fixed in the latest patch, way to go again Bethesda for making a game with a plethora of bugs that despite being said it was fixed in an older patch, I still have this problem even with the most recent patch, wheres the quality control for these games, I mean seriously, you guys jerking off when your making the patches? Or are the people who work in quality control brain dead? (If QC even exists for these games, which I doubt, when FO3 and NV came out they were almost unplayable.) Ahh... I guess it's not a big deal, but hey, it's pretty annoying since Energy Weapon ammo is hard to come by early on without working ammo boxes... Oh well.

I got this once the other day ( among other new bugs and loading errors ) just stash the box into a container ( ammo crate, closet.. etc.) then hit take all it fixed it for me.

I think Obsidian made FNV so shouting at Bethesda is pointless. Also shouting about a bug problem is childish and way too many people are doing way too often. Every other thread is some [censored] throwing toys out the pram because their game isn't perfect. I had a bug and instead of making aggressive threads I asked if there was a fix or a way round the problem. Everyone gets frustrated with bugs but a post having a go at companies is a way to pi*s off a lot of people very quickly.

EDIT: P*nis got censored, surely that's the correct word for willy. I might make a thread about it moaning.

I understand where your coming from but when a game has been out for 9 months, I expect it to work properly. I have every right to complain about it, if people want to hate on me for it, that's their problem. I could honestly care less. In my opinion most of these bugs should of been ironed out even before it's release. You would think with the amount of money they made so far with this game they could hire some competent developers to make quality patches (EDIT: Okay, they're not that bad, the patches are generally pretty good, it's just that for some reason they fail to fix a lot of things that you wouldn't think would be too hard to fix. *ED-E for example, can be extremely buggy for many people) One thing is for sure though, a censor is not appropriate for this forum, as long as people can keep it somewhat clean.

@Madocmayhem

I tried it, didn't work for me. =( Think I'll try making a new character and see if that fixes it. Thanks for trying to help me though. Appreciate it.

I would say try to backup your saves and reinstall the game. If you are using mods than it isn't the developer's responsibility to fix it.
