when you buy ammo boxes in bulk from merchants, theyre supposed to automatically turn into bullets once they enter your inventory, this isn't the case post patch, where you have to drop the boxes or trade them to a companion and trade back to turn them into bullets

this is very similar to the caravan card bug

The same thing for powder and primers. If you buy them you have to drop them and pick them up for them to break down.
