I finally got the perk that opens hand loading for me. I take all my ammo and convert it to hand loads and then my GSR will not shoot those rounds. I have not checked to see if the regular sniper will but I can only shoot AP rounds in the GSR. I cannot switch between ammo either, if I drop the AP rounds I have no ammo for the gun even though it says I have 200+ rounds. The rounds work in other .308 guns however.....any thoughts.

does no one have a good answer or just a stupid question. I have created a new person and I do not want to take this perk if it is pointless with the sniper rifle.

I use only handloaded .308 JSPs in my sniper rifle and This Machine and have never had a problem. Maybe it's a GSR glitch?

Some guns cant handle the more potent loads so you need to keep some of the basic ammo around for them.
