Ok so I am about lvl 12, and have a good amount of weapons at this point. I am this far:

My question is; what are some good guns to buy that I should get? I see things like the 9mm SMG and stuff but never bothered in getting any of that.
Is there somewhere else to go than Gun Runners for weapons and ammo? (Not Silver Rush, because I'm not an energy wep kind of guy)

But my main point in making this thread was to ask about ammo.

I am constantly fighting to maintain a decent ammo supply, and am constantly running out. I have the money to buy ammo; but I just don't know where to get it... I usually wipe Gun Runners of all the ammo there, but it is hardly anything and I run out right away.
I haven't even crafted any ammo/weapon mods yet.

So:
A. Are weapon mods worth it? If so, which ones and for what weapons?
B. How do you find things like primer for crafting ammo?

Don't sell any bullets to vendor, use reload table to break them down. Some bullets use the same parts, like 357 and 9m are the same primer caps. Broke down comps have no weight even in hardcoe mode. Hardest part is finding the shells on merchants, and there is a perk later on that lets you collect some of your shells you fire.

Can somebody give a more dumb-downed version of how to make bullets / where to get ingredients? I don't really understand it.

NO ONE has a simple way of putting it, or an advanced guide, or a beginners guide for that matter, not even the Official Strategy guide

I guess I could make a guide, any ideas on where to post it?
