Android sounds/ringtones

Post » Wed Nov 30, 2011 10:02 am

Pretty much what the topic is. I know that most if not all android phones can directly download files for use on the phone. My question is... Are there any safe and reliable sites that have sounds that I could download directly to the phone itself? I know google is out there but i'd much rather have safe suggestions than screwing up my phone that I just purchased. B)

You can make your own with any MP3 and http://www.androidtotal.com/create-ringtones-android-using-mp3-ringtone-maker-app/. Alternatively, you can make a folder within the music folder on your SD card called "Ringtones" and put any 45 second MP3 in there and after a reboot it should show up in the list.

I don't understand your worries, if it's about computer virus, Android is Linux-based, means most (if not all) PC virus won't work in your phone. If it's about putting the file in the wrong place (like system area), the phone won't let you in the first place.
