Hey everyone, i was out adventuring and something a little odd, yet funny happened.

*Some Spoilers*-I'll do my best not to make it too specific

So, i was doing a quest to what i now know is the Blades. There was a certain woman (won't spoil who), that apparently took a horn i was to get for the monks at High Hrothgar.

I met her, she explained her story, and says we need to go find the next dragon to rise, and kill it. To test if i'm capable. So she puts on her gear and we head out. Aela is with me as well, and we frantically try to keep pace with the Blades woman as she runs towards our destination. She tells me "She's glad to be out of Riverwood", and we keep going.
Well this is where i spotted something. After killing a wolf, we headed down a path to see a group of Imperials taking a Stormcloak prisoner. I Am a stormcloak, so i can not take any other course of action, other than- to attack.

So i take out my sword and walk right up to one. In the distance i see the Blades woman stop and look at me, she was still a ways ahead of the road. Well i swing the blade and kill the first guard, more pour out onto me. The prisoner is free and it seems like a full blown rally. Aela is shooting arrows, and im smashing heads. And the prisoner is trying his best to help.

I finally finish killing the last guard, and as i talk to the prisoner, an arrow swooshes by us. I think that maybe i missed one, i see if Aela is attacking anyone, but she isn't, neither is the prisoner. So i turn to see the Blades woman, who is supposed to be helping me slay a dragon, now shooting at me for helping the stormcloak free. I take an arrow (not to the knee...but the torso) and i see the stormcloak run for his life. He runs right past me and further down the road. I start running back, as to get out of firing range. So as the stormcloak runs, the Blades woman turns her sight to him.

I'm shocked as i see my fellow stormcloak brother take an arrow right threw the head, and fly back my way. I was like, no way! The Blades woman then sets her sights back on me, and i book it to where we were supposed to be heading to. She follows shooting arrows at me till i loose sight of her. Me and Aela (who never fired a single shot back at the Blades woman), settled down on the road to collect our thoughts.

What just happened? I also then noticed i had gotten a 100G bounty in Whiterun for killing the imperial slug. And Whiterun is a stormcloak city! With a stormcloak jarl!!

I'm thinking, "Is this whole world just a sham? Are they all just playing the part, but really working for the Imperials?"

As i was thinking i see a torch glare coming down the road. It's the Blades woman. She seems like she is not planning to attack me. She actually stops in front of me and says "Don't do anything aggressive, we don't want to attract attention".
Wow! And you shooting arrows at me for helping my stormcloak brother doesn't fall under "aggressive"?

Ok, so now i don't know what is wrong. I helped my fellow Stormcloak escape, yet got a bounty in a Stormcloak supporting city. And I took an arrow from the Blades woman, not to mention the prisoner i freed now lays dead with an arrow through his brains. I took a step back. Considered, what i should do.

I pulled out my sword ready to give a deathblow to the damned Blades woman. Only then to be attacked by wolves...

After those little annoyances were put to rest, all i wanted to do was just finish this quest and leave it at that. So at the encouragement of the Blades woman who said "We best get going". I put away my thoughts of retribution, and walked on.

Now, it makes me wonder. Do these bloody Blades have an affiliation with Imperials? If so then i may certainly destroy their order myself. The thought also occured, of why did Whiterun put a bounty on my head, with the death of the imperials? Now I'm thinking i must be in some big scheme. The Jarl must be corrupt himself!

I will soon pay him a visit, to "straighten things out".


Not quite sure what went on that night, but i know this. There's daggers in men's smiles.

It's possible that if you were near Whiterun, you accidentally killed a guard along with the Imperial soldiers. That's the only possibility I can think of. But Delphine is an [censored]. Get used to it.

When you freed your Stormcloak friend, did you speak with him first and use the dialog option that's like "I WILL FREE YOU!!" before the melee started, or did you just charge in cracking heads? If the latter, Delphine probably reacted like she would after witnessing any other crime.

Skyrim is out to get you. On my main character i have:

2000 gold in Markarth: A guard walked up to me and told me he was going to pin the blame for some murders on me because he was lazy. (I've already done finished escape from cidna mine)

1000 gold in Solitude: A markarth "thug" (Bit much calling them guards after the above) tracked me to haafinger county and tried kill me; I defended myself but it was witnessed by a Haafinger resident

2000 gold in Morthaal: While rooting out an infestation of vampires, I was attacked in broad daylight by a vampire using both her blood-siphon attack AND using the corpse of her dead husband... the guards didn't care. But when i killed them hoooo boy. The entire-[censored] village came out.. WITH PITCHFORKS AND TORCHES (I'm not kidding)

2000 gold in Whiterun: Aela and an undead Skjor started following me all over the map interuppting me every 5 minutes (Even in bed with my husband!), then, one day I transformed into a werewolf in sight of the two... they attacked me calling em a foul beast and stuff - they were shocked to discover I was in fact a werewolf, i went back to human form and ran off. They turned up in my HOUSE, still hostile, started attacking me, husband helps out, so they try kill HIM too... cue a double homicide

2000 gold in Whitehelm: Just because.... No seriously I have no idea, I walked into walked into town and the guard was like "SUPRISE AXE TO THE FACE LOL!", and that was that.



I've come to conclude every faction secretly wants you dead.

...it ain't paranoia if they really are out to get you <.<

unfortunatly at this point in the timeline the blades are nothing but a group of giant dbags

That's pretty hilarious! I knew that Skyrim didn't like the dragonborn, but apparently the guards are in it too. But we have to fight it!

Yeah, i was thinking that these Blades are just a bunch of *****. So, i might just use this incident to add my dislike fo them

well sounds like this annoying bladewoman finally did something good...

Smart move attacking a group of Imperials with a Blade at your side, pity she didn't gut you like that Stormcloak Rat...

Neither. THey are loyal to Dragonborn.

Until you complete the Civil war quest for Whiterun it is neutral not stormcloak...Just sayin'

They SAY they are loyal to the dragonborne, but i really htink at the point in game when they tell u to kill someone or else they take back everythign good they said about u and etc etc. that quest should remove thier essential perk....seriously granted ihad fun hacking and shouting the woman to "death" for 20 mins rnating at her that "im the [email="mutha@#$ing"]mutha@#$ing[/email] dragonborne dotn question me! i still have the blood fo 20 dragons still on me cuz i never wash and use thier blood as perfume, im wearing an armor out of skin and bones of all the dragons i have slaughter...wheres urs??? ow ya u dotn have none bc u havent killed any! dont say that oen time with me because u got shouted to the face and crouched behind that damn rock while i took it out! Come in here and bring ur own armor made out of al the dragons uve killed and show me that bloody shouts u have searched all over Skyrim for and half of them u dotn even use eva!
