"Angry Face"

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 7:42 pm

So, guys, I haven't been here since pre - release so I don't know if this has been asked to death or not, but I'm having a little problem with this "angry face" glitch, or, more accurately, my in-game wife and follower, Mjoll is (for those who don't know, it's when the player's or an NPC's face locks as if in combat permanently).

Now, I've been looking around for potential fixes but all I've been able to find are remedies for the Player, and not for any spouses/followers/other NPCs.
I've tried some basic methods, such as reloading saves, dismissing her, waiting for a long time, and going to get her again, and fast travelling away and back but nothing seems to work.

Oh, and usage of the console/mods is unfortunately not an option for me, I'm on 360.
Help would be much appreciated.

Yes, God it's terrifying when I talk to her! And yes, I tried hitting her before and after dismissal, fighting her into submission etc, nothing's worked so far

Well I assume you've taken her into battle to reset her facial expression?

If you've tried that then maybe try giving her a nice long hug? :goodjob:

Well I'll be
I haven't, yet, tried either of those things, although I did coerce her into battle with me. I can't try them now but will when I can. Thanks a lot!

Have you tried saving and reloading? I never really pay attention to their faces...usually I cover them with helmets.
