Animals & Water

Is it just me or animals never drown when underwater? i also seen them walk on top of water but mostly torpedoing underwater, its so annoying... i havent found a way to stop or prevent this issue... i think its related to pathfinding and navmesh, just my guess.

I've never experienced that kind of bug in vanilla Skyrim, SkyMoMod or Real Wildlife. Usually animals keep away from water and thoose that are able to swim, cross waters without problems. Jesus and torpedo animals on water seems to be exclusive to your mod...;) And no, animals do not drown, but they make up easy prey when not able to defend themselfs...:D

*Mofakin* i was talking about Vanilla animals, and no its not exclusively to my mod ill post a video of a new game with no mods at all, just to refute what you wrote.

Here is a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-cKq3KXgdY

No mods and new game (just retextures) and as you can see animals can Walk inside and even on top of water, i seen Deers and Bears run like crazy in the bottom of the water, i saw this behavior in Dec when i wasent even working on my mod, i am not too techie but i do think its related to navmesh since i think it handles the pathfinding of actors, this causes animals to just jetstream themselves through water and not actually detect they are not in land anymore.

They don't drown in Oblivion either as I recall and I never saw anyone - (but us) - drown in Morrowind
