Annoying and incessant "typing sound"

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 11:40 am

So saved my game outside entering Primm for first time. Didn't play for a day and think first patch downloaded during that time.

When I loaded up everything playing fine, but there is the repeating sound of something similar to 2 or 3 keys being typed over background music. This occurs repeatedly with delay of anywhere from 20 secs to a few minutes. Its driving me insane. Does anyone know what this is or what I can do to get it to shut the f up. Any input appreciated.

Note: this sound is there even before loading the save at menu screen.

LMAO! That's part of the music, bud. That's some classic Fallout1/2 music. Thank Mr. Inon Zur.

Wow. Played 1 and 2 back in the day til my fingers nigh fell off, but cant remember that sound at all. Maybe just getting sensitive in my old age.

Anyways went away after went into first battle and never came back. I gather that is part of soundtrack before loading, but maybe supposed to go away once loading (ie, not part of normal in-game background music).
