Annoying speech moments

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 2:43 pm

Im getting really annoyed that when I talk to NPC's and (on PS3) press circle to exit the speech when they are in mid talk, If i talk to them again after I have exited I have to hear them say their piece then I have to hear it again in order to progress onto the next set of dialogue, Is there anything that can be done about this? Maybe a Patch so you can't exit the talk or that, as long as you hear it you can still progress?

Oh god... NEVER use an Alchemy lab when anyone is within earshot.

...ever.

The skill references are by far the most annoying speech moments. They can spend all this time coding a guard to warn you against being a sneak thief as you tramp through the city in full plate armour and a glowing sword. After a ton of hours, its hard not to have a decent lockpick. Even my knight has a sneak of 30 and I don't even remember sneaking much, except when scouting out prior to a full on attack.

The annoying bit is, that the time spent to code and record voices for this, would have been better used to code and record voices for rank. If they acknowledged a thane of the city, or archmage, etc, would have been an improvement.

Its also a bad idea to smith a lot at Whiterun.

"I help my father more than people realise"
"Have you met my father? He advises the thane"

Over, and over, and over, and over again. ><

The only reason I turned on subtitles was because I was constantly getting surrounded by other NPCs talking to me while someone was telling me important plot points. Well, that and the game's audio, for some reason, is so low I have to crank my speakers up to the maximum volume to hear anything normally.
