Is there any way to enable anolog input from a joystick in this game through editing any .ini files or modding?

Recently bought a Logitech G13 for it's anolog support for games (in Skyrim particularly for sneaking/following NPC's without running straight past them or following at a snail's pace using the WASD keys and toggling between run/walk) but lo and behold: anolog movement is restricted to using a 360 controller only it seems.

Also, since the code for anologue movement is already IN the game, how hard would it be to just make a mod enabling it at all times rather than just for when a 360 controller is plugged in?
