So another Dawnguard question..

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 1:09 pm

I just went totally of track on my new character, i planned her to be a good evil slaying palaadin-ish character. Instead i made a Nord woodsman, who cares of no side except gold. He is in no faction (yet) and as long as the person carry gold, its a target. (Try avoiding guards but i just wanted that imperial bow :) )
Other then that she preys on wanderers along the roads and pitty villagers, animals for their hides and so forth. Living in a tent (Yes i found a mod that allows tent's!!) in the woods. (Yes its functional with sleeping, cooking) :P

Anyway that was way off point..
My question is; Will it be possible for me to find wandering vampires/werewolfs that i can hunt down or do i have to join the dawnguard society in order to do so? Cause RP wise i think my character would find them creepy, scarry but they are carrying coins and exotic stuff (she thinks at least)

It's not Elsweyr!

Anyway, until now, there have never been encounters of werewolves in the wild, so I doubt that Dawnguard will add any.

Come to think of it... Why don't we encounter wild werewolfs? That would be ten times more fun then trolls. I mean yah they are both strong big monsters but there is a whole role playing aspect a lot of people would get a kick out of.

Moreover, werewolves are easier to kill than trolls, at least from what I have experienced.

Uhm... The werewolf powerbash attacks is a pain xD. If you enqountered a smart werewolf (We realy need better AI) you would prefear trolls. I prefear trolls (Easy to kill with fire, be it a enchantment or destruction magic).

Werewolves in TES V are weak. Try fighting with a group of like 4/5 guards with melee, while other 3 guards shoot arrows at you and then tell me if you survive. Plus you are totally vulnerable while feeding. It's not the smartest idea to transform near any city at any time.
