Another hint pointing to a return to Morrowind. : V

I've seen the "easter egg" in-game; the gate which appears to lead into Morrowind. I'm not going to go into a huge speculation or anything, but I found an interesting note in a book...

In the book "Atlas of Dragons," which can be found on Esbern's desk in Sky Haven Temple, you can find the following entry:

Ahbiilok - Sightings dating back to the early years of the Dragonguard throughout the northern Jerralls. Multiple attempts to kill him have failed. He is believed to be lairing somewhere in Morrowind.

Just thought this was interesting.

theres also a flaming house near by to that gate with a candle circle and a dead corpse holding a summon flame atronach scroll near by

Morrowind was wonderful, and I love me some Nords, but can we get something new please? Skyrim is well done by still felt like something of a re-visit to Solstheim, and Shivering Isles even had some similar aspects to Vvardenfell.

I would really like to see something completely different like Elsweyr or Hammerfell.
Hammerfell sounds awesome actually. Deserts, tropical jungles, islands and lots of pirates? Yes please.

Morrowind was wonderful, and I love me some Nords, but can we get something new please? Skyrim is well done by still felt like something of a re-visit to Solstheim, and Shivering Isles even had some similar aspects to Vvardenfell.

I would really like to see something completely different like Elsweyr or Hammerfell.
Hammerfell sounds awesome actually. Deserts, tropical jungles, islands and lots of pirates? Yes please.

Hammerfell's no more new than Morrowind. I'd argue that both would be interesting to visit though, on account of the passing into the 4th age.

Now see, that would be interesting to delve into further. Granted, Morrowind pretty much told the tale as to why the Dwemer disappeared, but maybe its time they came back...

I don't think there'd be a single worse Lore decision in the entire TES framework than to bring the Dwemer back. There is no way to pull it off without at least half the community having a mouth frothing apoplectic fit because it didn't happen the way they had imagined. Some things are more tantalizing when left as a mystery.

But aren't they all one thing now? (Golden Skin)

Regardless, the reimergence of the dwemer would change everything in Nirn. It's too important an event to be covered in an expansion. Perhaps a couple of 'Outer-Realm' dwemer could come back to Nirn, but anything more would be too much.

Well, we've already been to Hammerfell, and as for "tropical jungles"... Remember Cyrodiil's lush rainforests? Me neither...

But I'd love to return to Morrowind some day. Not in the next game or an expansion, but when we're done with all provinces of Tamriel and get another Arena - then we'll see how Vvardenfell has changed since the eruption of Red Mountain.

To be fair that is how the lore wardens handle most new lore.but agreed this would be extra frothy

Wouldn't you want those entire provinces as entire games? I feel like a rushed, half-way expansion wouldn't do justice to huge areas like that. I'm totally fine with seeing the western, once Redoran-controlled mainland of Morrowind, which would also be NEW, as we didn't go there ever in Morrowind (only Vvardenfell, Solstheim and Mournhold)

Yeah Morrowind would be cool. What people don't seem to remember is that in the game Morrowind we only saw a small portion of Morrowind, the island Vvardenfell. There was a gigantic portion of the rest of the province that we never went to, so it could definitely feel "new", heck it might not even "feel" like Vvardenfell at all...

Also, if you side with the Imperials, in Riften they mention it gives them a launching point into Morrowind, just in case.

Ok so we were there in Daggerfall and that Redguard game. But not with nice, shiny graphics! /graphics[censored]

Ok well how about Elsweyr? Seems like a diverse and interesting place. Would probably get tired of the cats quickly though.

Elsweyr would be interesting. Would like to see those "cities so ancient the sands have swallowed them whole." And also we don't know much about the province except that Khajiit live there, and it's hot...

It's not like it would just be TES 3 with updated graphics..

Well, there's a whole road leading from Riften to Morrowind (with a shut gate, too!).
2 paved roads to Morrowind,
1 to Cyrodil with a shut gate at the end (the one from which the prisoners' carriage was coming)
1 to Hammerfell (probably Orsinium)

All of them just for modders?
