Well i havn't played brink for about 1 month now! 1 Month! I think its safe to say, I'm retired also. I'm going to have a huge brink tournament may,10,2012 so don't miss it. Happy B-day to brink then =)

Well back on topic i use to play brink EVERYDAY for about 4 months! Brink, brink, brink all i played. But once i got my newer games and started playing brink a bit less... I mean theres only 1 game-mode and 10 maps although the 10 maps are amazing and that 1 gamemode is great i wish they had come out with more dlc's... Well maybe they might even be like Sniper: Ghost Warrior and come out with a second dlc after they start a second one or brink reachs 1 yr old. Brink, you were worth my 60 bucks and had so much new stuff to show... But i guess your back on the shelf.. R.I.P.!

I gotta admit, when my friends couldnt play with me cos of lag I played less & less. Then Space Marine came out & im addicted, then gears 3 & thats been fun, jus had no time for Brink. If the game had been shown some early love id have stuck with it. Might pop on for a quick game now tho

Anyone who bashes Call of Duty without good reasoning can, quite frankly, go get hit by a truck.

It's not even that I like the series, it's just good to know that you'll follow everyone else and throw away individual integrity to join the masses in ridiculing a game series that does what it means to do pretty well. Fun and frenzy shoot outs with quick kill times, in opposition to many games before they came around that had slower kill times and had power weapon pick ups around the map.

Community in that game was one of the reasons that I started hating it. I think that the fact that 90% of the players are trying to 'quickscope' falls under the community.

Seriously? People are saying that Battlefield 3 is less than an 8?

I find that funny. BF3 was pretty good. This reminds me of players [censored]ing about CoD BO after MW2....they can't do the stuff that used to win their games. They're still some fixes that should of been fixed before it came out, but I can't explain in detail, since I don't have the game.

see this is excactly why i don't play COD... i mean sure zombies is fun and all and the multiplayer is okay but with all these [censored] little 10 year old kids with squeaky voices running around quickscoping and noob tubing, knifing from across the map all the time and being forced into game chat to listen to then is not very enjoyable. Also i posted that as a joke yet if someone says they don't like COD all these little kids start raging, whining, complaining. And im a huge Medal of Honor fan so this is a huge problem whenever i say i personally think Medal of Honor is better everyone starts saying MoH is [censored] when they dont even have the game just because they dont respect my opinion. And the biggest reason i dont play COD is because its the same [censored] as the last COD with the same graphics, guns, gamemodes, perks, and a very short campaign with almost no story at all. The only thing new they add in is basicly a few maps and a few new other stuff with the same graphics and expect me to go out and spend $60 on a game which was excactly the same last year! well that sums up the COD franchise anyways... good at first but the only reason they keep making COD's is because these dumb kids go out and spend $60 on stuff that was excactly the same as before! It is fun but your basicly buying a $60 map pack and if you don't buy it you will be forced to play with random people while the rest of your friends upgrade to the newest COD. This is excactly why i play unique games like Brink, Medal of Honor because there always different rather than the same [censored] every year... thats why im getting games like Far Cry 3, Sniper: Ghost warrior 2 and several other games... The commmunity is not a bunch of little annoying kids!

Little kids = ignorant, but fine, it is what you expect in the game.
Quickscoping = annoying as hell.
Noob Toobing = I prefer NB rather than the whole team trying to quickscope. Noob Tubers are actually using the weapon given to them, and sacrifices the use of Bling/Warlord. If I was forced to choose between Noob Tubers and Campers, I would choose the former. NB can easily flush out the campers, forcing them to actually do stuff than camp for the chopper gunner.
Knifing across map = MW2, learn2riotshield.
Game chat = there is always the mute option, y'know...


Why would you post something saying you don't like in a fanbase? It's better to not post at all. Makes you look like you were trollbaiting there. MoH is a good game, but then again, CoD's problem is the community and will quickly oppress any other opinion one might have....


Other games are superior, the only reason CoD is 'good' it's because many people migrate into the 'now'. People are social animals and will do anything to be a part of a group, and people always talk about CoD 'n stuff, so they might as well forget the surprisingly underrated games just to play a game that everyone is playing and make something out of that.

Also, if you know the community is filled with kids and such, why even bother complaining? I am not saying CoD is a great FPS, just underlying the things that you did wrong....

Not sure what the term quickscope means to you. But it reminded me of someone I knew who used to play SOCOM when it was hot and bragging about picking off newbs with a sniper rifle when they landed in the game.

That's probably some great sniper or using an aimbot...
As for the quickscoping, is when you scope in less than half a second with a sniper rifle. Pretty stupid if you ask me....

Pretty sure quickscoping is used to exploit the hitboxes in COD.

Mainly the aim assist. I think, at least that's what I've been told.
