Ant Nectar addiction is incurable : Fallout: New Vegas

I've tried the doc a dozen times, he happily takes my caps and it tells me my addictions are cured yet ant nectar withdrawal persists... Anyone else stuck with this?

maybe you just got some of the REALLY good stuff. Not like that cheap knock off stuff you get at the mall, real ant nectar.

Same here, and I'm on the PC version. I've seen posts in other forums about the same issue with the 360 version.

I guess that means the upcoming patch won't fix this. I either gotta live with -2 STR or start over, wonderful...

I am also unfortunately ADDICTED to ANT NECTAR. Why is this incurable? I'm stuck with the -2 STR debuff. =/ Really bumming me out.

It's not a bug.

There's a Narcotics Anonymous meeting every Thursday, 8 PM, at the Old Mormon Fort.

That's where you start the "12 Steps to Freedom" quest.
