I'm trying to figure out this forge and I'm having no luck. Can some one shed some light on this for me

There are a lot more forge recipes then I ever knew! How come I only ever found one in my game?!

The forge is not something I explored after the first thing I made was hostile to me. There are so many other things to do. Now I'm going to start saving the items needed and make my own Spell Tome: Storm Atronach....look out! Thanks for posting the link.

If you dig in the creating kit, you can find out how the recipes work. Essentially, they only appear if you are at a certain stage of the Mage's quest. And then they only appear on mage opponents and chests.

Did anybody encounter the issue where once you create daedric boots they never show in your inventory...i have gone arround this countless times since thats the only piece of equipment my follower (lydia) is missing for a complete daedric set of armor...and it seems there is no way to go arround it...

You can get recipes from random witches , necromancers, mages, etc. I've got like 8 different recipes now.
The game guide has a good list of recipes.
There are two types of recipes. Some for basic items and some for deadric stuff.

That's a bug. It's listed on the uesp linked above.
