I have had no luck at all when google searching for images of male Bretons (custom made).

My favorite race is Breton, and I always role a male. I have had allot of fun creating male Bretons, but I have never seen what others look like.

Would anyone be willing to share some screens? I am mainly hoping to see closeups of faces.

My last character was a Breton but I won't post a pic. He made it to level 49 before becoming trapped in Skuldafin forever due to the game being infested with bugs. He'll probably just kill himself.

I almost always play with Bretons (male and female). This current one was created fairly quickly so not the best I made... He's a "good" warrior type character.

That's pretty strange, that you get that.

Another thing, I have been hoping to get an answer to: would any of the nice dudes on this thread be willing to help me out with a small experiment?

Every time I create a Breton male, there is ALWAYS a bright spot under the bottom lip, and above the chin. Just below the bottom lip.

I have messed with different facial hair, war paint, and skin tones, but this extra light skin spot (patch) is always there.

All this time, I have been under the belief that this is some flaw with the race, just like Nords have annoying dimples, and Imperials have those terrible shadows on their cheeks.

This shows up indoors. You can't see it very well outdoors.

Could you guys check your bretons and tell me if it is on yours?

yes, I almost always play a Breton, sadly I'm on 360 so I can't really post pics.

One thing I do is I always start with the eyes, then the nose, then the forehead/cheekbone/jaw, then the mouth last.

I make them bald and plain while I work on the features, then add scars, paint, beard, and hair after I'm satisfied (enough) with the face. I'll check for that spot tomorrow, I haven't noticed it.

Before even starting I decide my class and my character's back story. That really helps give me an idea what kind of man this character is going to be. That way I can go for a more intelligent look for a mage or a more rugged or scarred look for a warrior. I try to rotate the head a lot to view it from all angles as I make changes so I don't end up with some wierd jutting chin or strange forehead. I don't go for a pretty boy but more of what I consider a natural rugged looking man. Decent looking but not Hollywood hunk. I usually start around the eyes and then to the nose then work the cheeks the mouth and the chin. Add a scar or some tats for character after that. i pick hair and facial hair that I think fits the class and the personality of my character.

I am really hoping someone can confirm this light spot under Breton bottom lips. I am beginning to think I am losing my mind. I keep starting over because of this. I don't want to be another race either... help?

Well, Bretons are a superior race. For example, they are wise enough to understand what armor is actually for and would never be caught dead going to battle in whatever that Nord's wearing. And I do hope he's standing in front of a winged statue and not actually wearing wings.
