Any News is good News (DLC)

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 11:51 pm

I've been through this game several times. It's size, scale and total length is very impressive and is something that only Bethesda can communicate! However after making several characters, different builds and playing in different styles the end result remains the same. The same missions/ quests, the same equipment, the same sights. I don't have this game on CPU, I'm playing on Xbox 360, so I don't have access to the Creation Kit or user created content to keep things fresh and exciting. I know a press release from Bethesda said that there would be DLC available for this game and it would "Have more Meat..." so to speak and would come slower than previous games. My question is when? Like the topic says "Any News is good News", I myself along with many others i'm sure would love to have some kind of news about the potential DLC that Bethesda is working on... Keep us interested, dangle a carrot infront of our faces a little. Just because it's not ready for screens shots doesn't mean we don't want to hear about it, what we will be essentialy buying from you in the future. I know game design and creation along with story boards can take some time, but please just speak on it. Who agrees?

P.S. I don't know how anyone else feels but learning about the ancient histories of the game land and it's people (Ancient sites, Dwarves, etc...) would be greatly appreciated and is a very interesting fascet to the game.

I know, apologies for "Yet another thread" on this topic. I'm only trying to get answers. I've been through this game so many times already like I said and the creation kit for some is able to keep things interesting and new through user created content but I dont have access to that and neither does alot of gamers... Just would love to know what I'm waiting on ya know

I care not for dlc, it's worthless. I want an actual expansion.

Whats wrong with "yet another thread"? alot of people don't bother going three or four pages back so they might not see the previous one. And so maybe you have, leave it be if you have nothing to say other than "already posted" or "100000001st thread" or whatever.

On topic I think there was a bit of information saying they would wait for alteast a year give or take a couple of months?

You won't, not until it's released and then it will be posted here.

Exactly, thats what I mean. I'd like to see the devs give all of us a small taste and I'm wondering if I'm alone in this or if the masses wish the same.

you know, you can make your post in one of those posts that already exist instead of make a new one, and probably in there there's already a lot of the answers you are looking for

And this is why you should use the search before making another thread :)

As for Skyrim, we can't wait to share news on the first DLC. But you'll have to wait and see when it gets officially announced.

The only thing we know for certain is that DLC for Xbox and PS3 will contain a special console edition of the creation kit and a utility for sharing user made mods. Expect it to be released sometime before April.

Listen, not to be rude, but if you don't care to discuss the topic please stop telling me there's a million other threads like this, just ignore it. I'd like to hear other gamers thoughts on this. I'm interested in the mass reaction of no real news so far after launch

Of course you could, but like i said, why not post one mroe recent so not only the op gets answers but people who have never seen a previous post. It doesn't hurt anyone posted another thread does it?

But like a member stated before, who really wants to traverse pages upon pages back in forgotten logs? I'm not spamming or anything I'm looking for users input
