At the moment Im playing a male Nord mage a female Breton barbarian (I based her on red Sonja with bit of Gerald of riva thrown in with alchemy ) and a Red guard light warrior/scout. Thing is I cant just stick to one play style all the time having 3 different builds on the go I get the variety I need. I play the Breton and Redguard most maybe the nord twice a week. There are down side like repeatedly doing same quest give a deja vu feeling.
Dose any one else do this I feel it problem really would like to just stick with one character but get the itch all the time to try something else out bit of restartritis you may say.

I have four characters, and I play all of them. I'll often have periods of time where I play one more than the others, but on average I play them all equally.

My main save is a male Kahjit level 79, My health is a 796 i think? (I have an enchanted ring boosting it a few) I have 340 Magicka, and 170 stamina. I use a Dragonbone Sword along with Summon Arvak. I am a Warrior/Mage I am wearing:

Armor: Nightingale Armor
Headwear: Nahkriin
Gauntlets: Nightingale Gauntlets
Footwear: Ebony Boots of Frost Resistence
Ring: Ring of Minor Health
Nechlace: Necklace of Major Wielding

I have one character who's mostly retired, in Nyx (my Dunmer battlemage). She's very much alive, but she's chosen to get married and settle down in Solitude. Only things I'm like to do with her are RP-related: since she left poor Lydia at Breezehome, she might enlist her as a follower so that both housecarls are with them at Proudspire. And go to Meeko's Shack and "adopt" Meeko. And of course, if Honorhall's kids are ever adoptable, she'll take one of them home as well (one of the boys, so Balimind won't feel so outnumbered being surrounded by women). Just one big, happy family.

As for my second character (and still my fave), Tiberius, he's still an active character. Indeed, he's never done much of anything in Falkreath or Markarth, and never completed the Companions questline (Whatshisname and Aela have been stuck in the Underforge for a year). So I could easily see myself bringing him back, seeing if I can level him up a bit more.

But right now, it's my Khaliit illusionist, who is finally starting to come into his own as a character. So the other two will have to wait awhile. I might have multiple active characters, but I bounce from character to character infrequently.

I have 4, but i prefer my pure mage and my pure thief / assassin.

I usually just play one at a time and just go back and forth remaking about six of them.

Derik ( battlemage): did MQ, CW and DG lines and he is also "finding" all the Dragon Priests... my "do gooder"
Dalhia ( Assassin): DB, TG and will be doing DG on the Vamp side... out only for herself and the money she can make.
Tye ( 2h werewolf): companions.... I'm not sure of the direction he will go after that.
Arieal ( sword and Board) MQ, she will be a mercenary doing all the "jobs" from Jarls and Inn keepers.
Amber ( Archer) hunter exploreer, I haven't played her much since DG came out... the Vamps really are bad on her.

I try to only do one "new" questline per character. I also try not to do the same questlines to close together. I still have not finished CoW or Bards, though I have had characters start both of them. I Have different characters to play at the same time so I can play differently and don't get the restartitis bug to much... Though I DO play around in character creation alot.

I have nine characters on the go. Eight in cloud storage and one on the HDD.

I've had two or more characters active at the same side, but I tend to focus on one character and play the others only occasionally until it's time to focus on them, or to test things once they are retired. I'm also addicted to character creation and make new characters just for fun, spend ages on their looks, take them through Helgen and leave until later. So far I have
Jelissa, Breton warrior/thief - mostly retired
Aurora, Nord alchemist - retired (or, really, abandoned, since she was rather boring and I had better ideas)
Sigyn, Nord warrior - retired
Orfeo, Imperial mage - my current main character, lvl 19 and very active
Medea, Dunmer witch - my next main, lvl 3 or something, maybe I'll run her parallell to Orfeo later on
...and ten or so characters in or right outside Helgen. Ideas include a Redguard assassin, an Imperial rogue/thief, an Altmer spellsword and an Orc non-fighting illusionist and trader.

I have three of them. I'm even planning on making a fourth. It would be a mage type but I'm still trying to decide the race and come up with a good name. It gets a bit confusing juggling three characters so that's another reason I'm hesitating on making another one. I spend alot more time with my first original character but they all get played quite a bit.
